Here at The Check House, we are dedicated to helping our residents make the most of every day by encouraging them to continue doing what brings them the most joy, whether that’s enjoying our private terrace, socialising with friends and family, or exploring the local area of Seaton.

Our Activity Coordinators work hard to create a wide range of fun and engaging activities for our residents, both within the home and out in the community. With great local transport options nearby, families and visitors can easily join in on the fun too.

The Check House offers a balance of activity and creativity, where residents can choose whether to stay active or enjoy a more relaxed, creative day. We ensure that no two days are the same, making each day different, exciting, and enjoyable for everyone.

We value our residents’ freedom and encourage them to take responsibility for their choices. While activities are not always supervised by a coordinator, there’s always a team member on hand to assist with events, day trips, and special excursions. At The Check House, we empower residents to live happy, fulfilled lives by doing what they enjoy most.

Just because our residents have chosen to make The Check House their home doesn’t mean they should have to change the way they live. We want our residents to continue living life on their own terms, and all of our activities are designed to complement their lifestyle, not disrupt it.

Our activities and programs are entirely optional and meant to be fun. While residents are encouraged to participate, they’re always welcome to relax and enjoy their time doing whatever makes them happiest.
